Auto-tune The News Backin Up
Best known for their Auto-Tune the News series on YouTube -- including 'Bed Intruder Song,' which became a genuine hit during the summer of 2010 -- the Gregory Brothers are primarily a lounge and soul-influenced indie rock ensemble. Formed in Brooklyn, NY in 2007, the band features brothers Evan Gregory (keyboards, vocals), Andrew Rose Gregory (guitar, vocals), and Michael Gregory (drums), along with Evan's wife, bassist/vocalist Sarah Fullen Gregory. All four appear in the Auto-Tune the News videos, in which they apply the titular vocal processor to various news clips and turn those clips into songs, but the Gregory Brothers are also serious musicians in their own right. Drawing their influence from blue-eyed soul and harmony groups, they released their debut EP, Meet the Gregory Brothers!, in 2009.
