- Aug 04, 2008 It is trying to find a file named 'helloworld.exe.intermediate.manifest' but it cannot find it.A MS manifest file is used to specify certain resource properties of a program. The most common example I know of is to tell XP to use the pretty XP-style themable window controls when displaying your program.

Nov 09, 2008 I'm using Bloodshed DevC but it cannot compile, and only displaying this message 'The system could not find the file specified'.And when I start it,it displays this CAUTION:There doesn't seem to be GNU Make file in PATH or in Dev-C Bin Path. Please make sure that you have GNU Make and adjust Bin setting or system PATH enviroment variable. The system cannot find the file specified usually means the build failed (which it will for your code as you're missing a # infront of include, you have a stray at the end of your cout line and you need std:: infront of cout) but you have the 'run anyway' option checked which means it runs an executable that doesn't exist.
